Halloween is here!

What do you love about NY

A visual poem to one person's love of NY using Legos as mini sculptures. Covering everything from the Gowanus Canal to a plastic bag caught in a tree Christoph Neimann creatively captures what it means to be a New Yorker. Makes you want to grab a bag of Legos and make your own book.

We're not in Kansas anymore.

This is the view from out our back door here at Scaredy Kat. The tornado-like storm that came through on Thursday brought a giant tree from 3 doors down crashing into our yard. We count ourselves lucky since it fell at the perfect angle and if had veered in any direction it would have done much more damage.
Click on the photo montage above for a closer view of the wreckage.
